Hi Holly,
Thanks for the videos. 🙂
I’m going to go to the forum to ask this but I’ll ask you too.
Is there an easy way to have the home page show excerpts instead of the full post. Do I need to setup a custom template to do that? That is beyond me.
Great tutorials! I’ve been researching WP themes and WP Frameworks and the Flexibility theme certainly has clearer settings than many. Also the presence or absence of tutorials divides the wheat from the chaff. Your tutorials here are certainly a boost to the Flex themes usability.
One function I’m still curious to find out about is how many page template options there ar, and if you can create new page templates. HFor example, having a full-width page for splash entry page or to accomodate a forum plug-in is important…
Thanks,
Lon K
I believe you can do this with the paid version of flexsqueeze.
Holly, very good job on the videos, thanks. I have bought the paid version of flexibility but can’t upload it because I can’t figure out how to delete the free version. As long as it is still installed, I can’t upload the new one. How can I delete the free one? Thanks
Bill,
There are two options and I’ve done both of them:
1. Go to your dashboard, activate another theme, delete the free version of flexibility, reload the paid version
2. Use filezilla (ftp) and remove the theme. public_html/wp-content/themes
log back into your blog dashboard
appearance/themes/upload the paid version
Let me know if this works for you.
Hello Holly,
You are just wonderful!
Nicely explained that even a dummy like myself understood and enjoyed.
Thanks.
