Thanks for the great videos, they have really helped me alot. I would really appreciate it if you would tell how you put your pages such as privacy policy, sitemap, etc. in the footer section without them showing in the header tabs.

Hi Holly – Thanks for the great videos! You really did a great job with these. I was going to create Flexibility videos for my group members, but you already have made a fantastic series. I hope you don’t mind me sending you a bunch of visitors your way!

    Hey Holly

Nice job with the videos, just what I needed and you were thorough in your explanation, When I enlarged to full screen to see the video better, the screen was very clear so, did you use camtasia when recording i wonder?

    Thanks again Brad

  4. hollypowell on November 2, 2010 at 5:31 pm

Do you mean it was very clear? or not clear? I’m actually using jing. An invaluable free tool that I would not do without.

  5. hollypowell on November 2, 2010 at 5:32 pm

Dean, I would love to have the visitors! Send them on and if there is anything else I can do for you please let me know.

    Hi Holy,

my posts? Cant figure it out.

    Many thanks in advance

You have done a great job!

    Wouter

  7. hollypowell on November 10, 2010 at 11:10 am

    Wouter,

Under the post are you adding a short summary in the excerpt area? Once you publish the blog post it should work.

Hey Holly, I am re-building my site and would describe myself as a novice, how do I add a contact box and images to the Top Header? I saw you vid on adding videos to the Top Header but was not sure about images? tks deb

  17. Eric Martinson on July 3, 2011 at 2:27 am

Truly awesome video series! I only wish I had found them sooner. Thank you for doing these. Non-techy guys like me REALLY appreciate them! 😉

  18. Holly Powell on July 3, 2011 at 2:03 pm

Do you mean the top feature box? Or the top header?
If you mean the top feature box–you do this with widgets.

I hope this answers your question–let me know if now.

    Hi Holly,

Flexibility3 theme does not allow me to change colors?

    I get this message:
Your stylesheet is not writable. Loosen the write permissions on style.css until you no longer see this message when saving. The default value is 644 on most servers, but you may need to increase it for your particular server. You may also have the theme installed improperly. Make sure the theme folder structure is /wp-content/themes/flexibility3/ and nothing different.

I deleted Flexibility3 from my themes and then uploaded it again, but still doesn’t work? I changed my Perms from 0755 to 0777 but still didn’t work. After searching the web I’m at a lost over what to do next.

  20. Holly Powell on July 20, 2011 at 11:06 am

    Mark,

Do you have two instances of Flexibility loaded to your themes folder? If so, that may be the issue. I recently ran into this with another reader on this blog–and the issue there is the tight security his hosting company has put in place.
I highly recommend hostgator hosting–as I’ve never, ever had an issue with their hosting.

  21. robert on September 11, 2011 at 11:07 pm

These are great videos to go with the theme. I put my adsense code in the theme about 1.5 hours ago and still no adsense. I did follow directions for the ad blocks, should it take this long to appear? I will check in the morning.

  22. Holly Powell on September 27, 2011 at 11:57 am

    Hi Robert,

It looks like your adsense is showing now.

    Hi Donna,

what hosting company are you using? I’ve only run across this one time and it was the hosting companies protocols that would not allow me to load the theme. I suggested to my friend to change hosting to well my favorite hostgator.com

I have loaded the flex3 theme hundreds of times using hostgator hosting with no issues.

    Let me know

  25. Steve on January 21, 2012 at 8:06 am

    Hi Holly,

I’m just in the process of building my new blog and using Flexi3 theme. I wanted to know how to upload a squeeze page to my WP blog. I’ve made the squeeze page using Page Breeze and I want to use a text link within the Top Feature to send visitors to my squeeze page. Please could you help?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve.

  26. Holly Powell on March 8, 2012 at 9:47 pm

In this instance you may want to use a custom menu. Or do you mean you want to create a link in the top feature widget? You could do that in a number of ways.
Give me a call and leave a message and I will give you a call back.

  27. Glen on March 25, 2012 at 2:35 pm

    G’day Holly,

    Great videos,thank you.
I was wanting to put affiliate banners in the footer.Would you know where I can get more info on this?

    Cheers,
    Glen

  28. Glen on March 25, 2012 at 3:30 pm

    Hi Holly,

    I meant sidebar not footer.Ta

  29. Holly Powell on June 4, 2012 at 5:25 pm

    Hi Glenn,

You can add affiliate code to your footer widgets using the html that most affiliate will give you.

hmmmm…not sure I’m really answering your question.

  30. Holly Powell on June 4, 2012 at 5:25 pm

    Glen,

I see what you mean–add a text widget to your sidebar where you want your code to go and paste the html affiliate code in the text widget–that should take care of it.

  31. Desda on July 1, 2012 at 10:30 pm

    Hi Holly,
I could not find your answer to one old question (from Tim, OCt4th, 2010).

How do you add the Home, About, Sitemap, Pages etc to the footer? Thanks.

  32. Holly Powell on August 16, 2012 at 1:29 pm

I am going to shoot a few videos tonight about this.

  35. Rachel on January 12, 2013 at 12:05 pm

Thanks so much for creating this video series. I can honestly say it is THE best tutorial I’ve seen and this theme is also the best! Good luck in all you do!

  36. Holly Powell on January 14, 2013 at 9:48 am

    Rachel,

    You are very welcome.

  37. Mary Austin on August 6, 2013 at 1:32 pm

Thank you very much for all the tutorials which have saved me. I use Flexiblity 3 right now. Every now and then I see a helpful video that was not included in the original list of Flexibility 3 video tutorials.

Is there a master list or index of tutorials by subject that you update as you add more? It sure would be helpful.

  38. Holly Powell on August 6, 2013 at 5:26 pm

    Mary,

No–but that’s a great idea. I will work on a page that has that.

    Thanks for the input.
